The TIMLOC 1138 Type C Soffit Vent Strip is an efficient, discreet and easy to fit primary ventilation solution for roof eaves ventilation, for use on roofs where the eaves incorporate a soffit board and with soffit boards between 6mm and 9mm in thickness. This TIMLOC Vent Strip provides ventilation equivalent to a continuous 25mm opening (25,000mm² per metre run) to ventilate pitched roofs of less than 15° degrees, flat roofs or any roof space where living accommodation is contained within the roof space. Durable, UV stabilised and entirely resistant to decay, this vent strip is a long-lasting and reliable choice for your eaves and soffit ventilation needs. An efficient roof ventilator that complies with all relevant building regulations and meets all relevant British Standards. Suggested Use Use this product (1138) to ventilate pitched roofs, where the pitch of the roof is less than 15 degrees, flat roofs or any roof where living accommodation is contained within the roof space. Ensure the ventilator is fixed securely to the back of the fascia board using all the fixing holes provided. Screws are preferable, but nails may be used with care.
