Dulux Trade Weathershield Preservative Primer + (BP) penetrates into wood to seal and preserve against water damage, decay and blue stain fungi. Provides 8 year weathering durability, when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system. Specifications Product Type: Primer Drying Time (Recoat): Allow the previous coat to soak in before applying the next Drying Time (Touch Dry): 16-24 hours Suitable Surface: Wood Coverage: Up to 5m² per litre General No. of Coats: 2 Application: Brush only. Do not spray. MIX THOROUGHLY BY SHAKING THE CONTAINER BEFORE USE. Pour out a sufficient amount of primer for the job into a suitable container. Do not thin. Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any surface coating, mould or algae before use. Use pre-treated timber for in ground contact situations. Apply two even coats. Allow 24 hours for second coat to dry. Lightly sand before application of Weathershield Exterior Flexible Undercoat, or Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Cleaning: After use, remove as much primer as possible from equipment before cleaning with water. Storage: Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
