Bostik Fire Cement is a ready-mixed, asbestos-free blend of inorganic fillers and water-based thermosetting resins, which dries cement like when exposed to heat. Bostik Fire Cement is tested up to +1400°C and has excellent adhesion to refractory brickwork, concrete and clay ware. Bostik Fire Cement is suitable for repairs to a wide range of applications where heat resistance is required, including fire backs, chimney linings, solid fuel heaters, broken bricks in grates and stoves, boilers and other surfaces which may be exposed to extreme heat and are not made of metal or plastic. Bostik Fire Cement is suitable for sealing surfaces in contact with extreme temperatures e.g., open fireplaces, room heaters, stoves, central heating system and boilers.
